Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor is reportedly considering to invite five Black Satellites players for the senior national team.
According to reports, coach Akonnor will be inviting five best performers of the Black Satellites that won the AFCON U-20 tournament in Mauritania.[ads2]
The five players being considered are Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim, free-kick specialist, Percious Boah, Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye and Philemon Baffour.
It is being reported that an internal discussion have started between the Black Stars coaching staff and an official announcement could be made soon.[ads3]
The Black Stars of Ghana are currently preparing for upcoming AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Princepe.
Already, twenty-four (24) players are in camp preparing for the qualifiers of which twenty-two of them are locally-based players with Emmanuel Boateng of Darlin Pro and Mubarak Wakaso of Jiangsu Sunning as the only foreign-based players included…[ads5]
