About Crime Check Foundation
The Crime Check Foundation (CCF) launched on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 is an Ex-convicts Reintegration Project aimed at supporting ex-convicts with the needed capital and skills to enable them reintegrate successfully into society.
The Management of the Crime Check Foundation believes this will significantly reduce the stigma ex-convicts face in the country.
According to the management of the Foundation, ex-convicts are not only rejected by their friends, but their families who are supposed to welcome them with open arms and it’s the mandate of the Foundation to educate that, usually not all of the inmates may have committed the crime. Some could not talk in court, others suffered from shoddy police investigations and the flaws associated with criminal justice delivery in the country.
The Foundation heavily supported by Black Stars midfielder Christian Atsu is keen on bringing smiles on the faces of these inmates.
