President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has pushed for the upgrade of Gyandu Park.
Kurt Okraku has become the latest to attach his voice to the growing demand to uplift the standard of the once preferred ground for western region football.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has earmarked some venues to undergo renovations including the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
The GFA President during a live discussion on GTV Sports+ and Happy FM pleaded with MOYS to add Gyandu Park to the selected venues up for renovation.

Kurt Okraku was in a discussion with GOC President, Ben Nunoo Mensah, deputy minister of sports, Perry Okudzeto.
“Honorable, please let’s add Gyandu Park, it’s on our hearts so kindly add that one too. We can fix it without necessarily expanded”.
