Michael Asare Boadu has confirmed his speculated exit from EIB’s Empire 102.7 FM becoming the third employee to cut ties with the Takoradi based radio station.
The Sports Writer, Broadcast Journalist with his latest post on his social media handle ended all speculations; sent notice of departure with warm regards to fellow employees and the sports team.

Asare Boadu has had an overwhelming impact on the airwaves, his writing ability and angles to stories on footballmadeinghana.com shoots him among the list of sports journalists to be looked up to in the coming years.

Formerly with Tarkwa FM, Michael Asare Boadu on Twitter as @Mr_Boadu will join the likes of Rosaline Djan, Nana Adwoa Entsua as the latest departures from the Tanokrom, Takoradi based station.

Onto his departure notes here are some key lines –
“On this day, May 11, 2020, I, Michael Asare Boadu officially announce my exit from Empire FM(EIB Network).
“It’s been a worthy journey that began 4 years ago, I am profoundly grateful to all and sundry for the work we put in together to get the station to where it is now.
“Without any equivocation, I wish the station the best in the future.
The professional relationship ends immediately, but the personal relationship still exists.

“A decision about my next step has been take and shall be made public, very soon.
“To the Sports Team, I am proud to have worked with such a family and I am very optimistic that you’ll continue to maintain standards even in my absence.
“To the listeners, lets continue that amiable relationship that exists between us”
