Shirley Ewurama Smith has been appointed as the acting station’s manager for Media General subsidiary in the Western region, Connect 97.1 FM, Kyfilla.com can exclusively reveal.
The renowned female broadcaster was handed the new role after the exit of Ransford Osei Asare who announced his departure on Monday, June 3, 2019 to attend to another duties under the Media General umbrella.
Ewurama Smith was transferred to Connect FM in Takoradi in 2018 from 3FM in Accra to serve as the news editor and to assist in other managerial duties.
She will also serve as the acting Media General’s Western and Central regions Manager as well.
Shirley Ewurama Smith previously worked with Skyy Power FM in Takoradi before joining the Media General family.
