Medeama Sporting Club have eliminated Sekondi Eleven Wise from the MTN sponsored FA Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The Yellow and Mauves pipped Eleven Wise 0:1 at the Gyandu Park in Sekondi to seal next round qualification.
It was a first half goal from Zakaria Mumuni that ensured Medeama SC defeat Eleven Wise at their own backyard in the round 64 of the FA Cup.
Medeama SC midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was shown the red card in the game but that didn’t deter the visitors from playing their game.
Even though Eleven Wise dominated the game,the defence of Medeama led by Daniel Egyin managed to stay on guard till the blast of the final whistle.
The defeat also means Sekondi Eleven Wise are out of this season’s FA Cup.[ads5]
