The Station’s Manager of Connect FM – a Media General subsidiary in the Western Region, Ransford Asare has welcomed new drive time host Nana Adjoa Arthur.
Nana Adjoa Arthur popularly referred to as “The Queen of the Airwaves” has joined Connect FM as Kyfilla.com earlier broke the news.[ads2]
Mr. Asare took to his social media page to welcome the affable broadcaster who is considered as one of the best female broadcasters in the region.
“She is the Queen of the Airwaves. 9 Years on the Drive is no mean experience. Listen to her live on Connect 97.1FM starting 2nd August 2021. Monday to Friday 3-6pm. Family help me welcome Nana Adjoa Arthur to the Connect family”, he wrote on his Facebook page.[ads3]
Nana Adjoa Arthur has joined the Media General brand in the region after almost nine years at Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM.
The 2015 Western Regional radio and television personality award winner will now be the new host of Connect FM drive time show dubbed ‘Yeko fie’ which will be aired on weekdays from 3:00PM-6:00PM.[ads4]
Nana Adjoa Arthur is expected to commence work at Connect FM from August 2, 2021 after her unveiling this week.
The popular female broadcaster joined Skyy Power FM somewhere in 2012 after resigning from Melody FM and went ahead to spend nine years at the West-Fijai based media firm.
Before joining Connect FM, she was the host of Skyy Power FM’s late afternoon show, the weekend music countdown dubbed “The Local Chat Show” and female centered talks show called ” Ladies Club”.
