Asante Kotoko have denied talks to sign former Hearts of Oak attacking midfielder Torric Jebrin, Kyfilla.com has learnt.
The 28-year old was reported to have completed talks with the Porcupine Warriors and was supposed to undergo a mandatory medicals today before inking a two-year deal.
But the Public Relations Officer of the Kumasi based side, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has denied the reports, insisting Asante Kotoko have not contacted the former Arab Contractors sensation.
“The brand of Asante Kotoko is big and people want to use Kotoko to advertise their brand. officially, I can confidently say that Asante kotoko hasn’t made any contact with Torric Jebrin”, Ansah told Light FM.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will face Nigerian side Kano Pillars in the preliminary round of the 2019/20 CAF Champions League.
