Asante Kotoko have begun talks to re-sign two of their former players.
Sources available to Kyfilla.com reveals that, Asante Kotoko have begun negotiations with re-sign Matthew Anim Cudjoe and Justice Blay.

Matthew Anim Cudjoe, who is sixteen years of age joined Asante Kotoko in December 2019 on a season-long loan deal from division one league side Young Apostles FC.
Anim Cudjoe wowed many Ghanaian football loving fans in Asante Kotoko and was a sensation in their clash against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in February this year.
He became the supporters favorite player in the Asante Kotoko jersey and even went to Bayern Munich for a week trials due to his incredible performance.

His loan deal has expired and now with Young Apostles FC but new CEO of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah is said to have gained interest in the player and want to re-sign him on a permanent deal.
Justice Blay, on the other hand, joined Asante Kotoko from Medeama Sporting Club on a season-long loan deal prior to the 2019/20 CAF Champions League campaign.
Blay was arguably the best player in the Asante Kotoko set-up in the 2019/20 league season, capping about 13 matches in the just cancelled season.

It is believed that, Nana Yaw Amponsah want to re-sign the defensive midfielder to boost their squad for the CAF Champions League.
This time around, Justice Blay is expected to join Asante Kotoko on a permanent deal from Medeama Sporting Club.
Asante Kotoko want to include the two players in the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign following their spectacular performances with the club last season.
Asante Kotoko have been banned by Manhyia Palace from signing new players but it is reported that management have begun steps to get clearance and the two players will be signed as soon as the ban is lifted.
