The Bank of Ghana has revoked licenses of 23 insolvent savings and loans companies and finance houses with immediate effect on Friday, August 16, 2019.
According to a statement from the Central Bank, the revocation of the licenses of these institutions had become necessary because they were insolvent even after they were given a reasonable period to recapitalize.
Below are the 23 financial institutions with their license revoked;
