With barely two years in office as the sports minister, Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah is gradually on course in reviving sports in the country.
Due to lack of, and neglect of sports facilities across the country, the Ghana sports has been in the descending queue over the years.
Having been vetted to the office as the sports minister in February, 2017, the ambitious Isaac Kwame Asiamah is gradually putting the pieces together to revamp theĀ deteriorated Ghana football, with his construction of multipurpose sports complex across the country campaign.
Already construction works have begun on the various projects and Kyfilla.com understands most of them near completion.
As Ghana prepare to host the 2023 All African Games, the ten sports complex will help towards a successful organization of the upcoming competition.
In Nyinahin in the Ashanti region,the project is in the completion stage likewise Axim in the Western region, Dormaa in the Bono region, Koforidua in the Eastern region, Navrongo in the Upper East region.
Same can also be said of Dunkwa in the Central region, Ho in the Volta region, Yendi in the Northern region and Wa in the Upper West region.
Also Azuma Nelson Sports Complex in Kaneshie is currently under rehabilitation process kind courtesy honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
The sports complex are 10,000 seater capacity with FIFA standard pitches, Olympic-size 8-lane tartan tracks, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court and netball court, gymnasium and ICT/ resource centre.
