The GNPC Foundation has handed over a 24- seater sanitary facility on Monday, August 19, 2019 to Bompeh Senior High/ Technical School in Takoradi of the Western region.
Kyfilla.com understands the 24-seater facility is to improve sanitary condition at the school.
Speaking at a short ceremony held at the premises of the school today, the Executive Director of the GNPC Foundation, Dr. Dominic Eduah said the Foundation, in its quest to support community development and capacity building, have rolled out several social intervention schemes in Education, Health & Sanitation, Economic empowerment among others.
The Head of Environment and Social Amenities at GNPC Foundation, Mrs Patience Lartey took patrons through the Foundation’s school Infrastructure project which includes the construction of 13 sanitary facilities in 2019 for selected school and market centers across the country.
The Metro Chief Executive Officer of the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis, Honorable Anthony K.K Sam, who was the guest of honor for the occasion, lauded GNPC‘s work through its Foundation in augmenting government and the Metro’s efforts in provinding social Alamenities for the people of the region and beyond.
The headmaster of the school, Mr. Joseph Borketey Larweh expressed his gratitude to GNPC and its Foundation for the kind gesture and seeks further support to improve Bompeh SHTS’s overall academic experience.
