Asante Kotoko have scheduled to play Hearts of Oak in the President’s Cup after their double header tie against Etoile du Sahel in the CAF Champions League.
The Porcupines were supposed to face their bitterest rival Hearts of Oak in the 2019 President’s Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi today, but the game has been called off after a heavy downpour in Kumasi today.

Referee Bernard Dumfe called off the match in just after ten minutes of play, due to the heavy downpour.

Nana Kwasi Gyembibi who is the Special Assistant to Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei, has told Oyerepa FM that, his outfit will only play the President’s Cup after their double header tie with Tunisian giant, Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
Asante Kotoko will face Etoile du Sahel in the first-leg of the CAF Champions League last preliminary round, on September 15 before traveling to Tunisia for the reverse fixture.
