Former Asante Kotoko interim coach Frimpong Manso has urged the newly formed normalization committee to establish a minimum wage for players playing their trade in the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Frimpong Manso made this suggestion in relation to a question asked on the areas he wants the newly formed normalization committee to tackle to bring sanity in the footballing business in the country.
According to the former Black Stars defender, the establishment of a minimum wage for players will help curb the high rate of player exodus in the country and the normalization committee must channel their attention to it.
“There should be a minimum wage for local players to avoid player exodus in the country”, he told Kwesi Koomson of Takoradi Aseda FM.

However, the former Karela United gaffer Frimpong Manso continued that, before a club will gain promotion to the Ghana Premier League, there should be an amount that the clubs will have before eligible to play in the Ghanaian topflight football.
“The normalization committee must also set an amount that the clubs will have before eligible to play in the Ghana Premier League”, he opined.
