The Ghana League Clubs Association have proposed dates for the replay of the 2019 President’s Cup between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
The cracker which was supposed to have been played last Sunday, was called off after a heavy downpour in Kumasi.

Referee Bernard Dumfe called off the match after just ten minutes of play.

The Chairman of GHALCA, Kudjoe Fianoo has revealed that, they have proposed either 6th or 13th October for the replay of the match, considering Asante Kotoko participation in the CAF Champions League.
” After meeting today, GHALCA is looking at either 6th October or 13th October having in mind Asante Kotoko’s CAF competitions engagement and also our sponsors which is government and for that matter the ministry of youth and sports.
” There could be a change of venue if the Baba Yara stadium will not be available because the stadium was supposed to be closed for renovations but for Kotoko’s participation in Africa.
” If Baba Yara Stadium won’t be available,then Accra will be the next venue”, Cudjoe Fianoo told Oyerepa FM.
However, the Special Assistant of Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman, Nana Gyambibi Coker, indicated after the discontinue of the match yesterday that, his outfit will only honour the President’s Cup after Etoile du Sahel double header tie in the CAF Champions League.
