According to a report by Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, the management of Asante Kotoko have decided to part ways with Kjetil Zachariassen who failed to reach the group stage of the ongoing CAF Champions League.
According to the report, Asante Kotoko management have scheduled to hold a meeting with Kjetil Zachariassen when the team return from Tunisia on Tuesday after Etoile du Sahel humiliation.

Kotoko were beaten 3-0 by Etoile du Sahel in the last round of the CAF Champions League prelims after a sweet 2-0 victory in the first-leg at Kumasi, relegating the Porcupines to the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs.
The report says, Asante Kotoko management are not happy with the coach’s selection of players for matches and reasons he has given for leaving some players behind.

Kotoko are considering parting ways with the former AshantiGold coach with a German coach in line for the job.
In a related development, management will no longer lodge complaint to CAF as they were considering to report the Egyptian referee Ibrahim Nour El-Din.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will know their CAF Confederation Cup playoffs opponent on October 9, 2019 during the official draw in Cairo.
