The Western region, mostly known in the entertainment industry as the pioneers of highlife music in the country and not a powerhouse especially in comedy is recently making case for itself.
The region labelled as the hub of oil in the country has of late been producing prospects in the Ghanaian comedy with the recent being Togo Borga and Too Much from the hilarious Junka Town movie fame.
It has however through Solomon Bosumtwi Sam {Paa Solo}, the man in charge of Tango One Films Production has produced another prospect touted by many in the region to be the ‘Next Big’ thing in the Ghanaian comedy.
His name is Bismarck Essel popularly known as ‘Atemuda’ who is a fante boy originally from Assin Krowa in the Central region.
This new hilarious kid touted by many to take over the mantle from the likes of DKB started comedy as early as nine years, performing at gatherings, competitions, shows etc until becoming the people’s favorites.
Atemuda started recording and releasing hilarious skits and videos on social media before discovered by Paa Solo who saw the talent in this young chap, starred him in the parts 5 and 6 of Junka Town movie together with Too Much and Homeless.
The promising actor/comedian played his first ever lead role in the much touted Tangayika movie which was produced by Tango One Films Production in Takoradi.

The hilarious actor has however articulated that Kumahood finest Kwadwo Nkansah popularly called as ‘Lilwin’ inspires him a lot and he’s looking up to him.
“Kwadwo Nkandah ‘lil Wayne’ is my biggest inspiration, I look up to him, I learn alots from him and he has that unique characteristics every comedian must learn to adapt”
This new kid is expected by many to take over the Ghanaian comedy in some few years to come.
