Ghana Football Association go to polls from 24th to 27th October to elect candidates on the various positions to steer the affairs of Ghana Football for the next 4 years.
Among the candidates vying for the various positions include Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare, who is the President of Ashanti Regional female side Nana Afia Kobi Ampem Ladies Sporting Club and management member of Hasaacas Ladies’s Football Club.
The distinguished female football administrator is vying for a position on the Ghana FA Executive Council.
She is morally upright and with no doubt, has women football at heart, not forgetting her over 18 years of experience in the football business.
Her marvelous knowledge in the game, saw her on the Organizing Committee of the just ended Normalization Committee Special Competition, which had former Black Stars defender Samuel Osei Kuffour as the chairman.

She will battle for the slot alongside renowned female football administrator, Madam Habiba Atta who is the CEO of Fabulous Ladies, alongside former Black Queens Management Committee Member and Vice Chairperson of Women’s League Board, Rosalind Amoh and Ms. Edna Yekeh who is a former Black Princesses assistant coach.

Evelyn started as an athlete in her secondary school days and was a long distance runner in 800m, 1500m and 3000m but ended as a sprinter in 100m, 200m and 400m for the University of Education, Winneba.
Her enormous contributions towards women football in the country saw her at the 2003 Women’s World Cup with the Black Queens in the United States of America.

Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare together with Mr. Sylvester Mensah and Madam Helena Kobinah organized a fund raising exercise for the Queens to embark on their trip.
She is highly educated with Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management as well as first degrees in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sports. She also holds 1st Degree in Procurement Management and currently going through M.phil, Procurement Management to enable her start her P.HD.
She was a Physical Education mistress for Serwaa Nyarko Girls Senior High School for four years in the Ashanti Region before heading to Atwima Kwawomma as Physical Education Coordinator.
The enterprising female football administrator has been a lecturer at the Procurement and Supply Chain Management Department at the Sunyani Technical University since 2012. She’s the sport manager of Sunyani Technical University.
In the media circles, Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare has worked with 6 media houses across the country.

She has worked with Fox FM, Kapital Radio, Metro Fm and Kessben FM in Kumasi, Space FM in Sunyani as well as Trust TV.
In 2007, Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare, Nana Bayin Eyison, Madam Habiba Atta and Coach Oti Akenteng took the Black Damsels to Switzerland for FIFA U-14 exhibition tournament and won the cup.
She became a Management Committee Member for the U17 in 2012 and after some years, she was moved to U20 as a Management Committee Member till 2017 when she became a Welfare Officer for the Senior National Women’s team, Black Queens.

In 2016 Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare and Nana Bayin Eyison raised 300,000.00 Ghana cedis for Black Queens and Princesses whilst in camp preparing for their various assignments.
She has attended all courses that are needed in sports as an administrator. She started from the Ben Koffie four year business and development plan course.
Also she partook in the FIFA Women’s grassroots coaching course from 2010 organized by the world football governing body, FIFA. She recently attended the Sports Administration and Management Course organized by National Sports College in Winneba and has attained a CAF license C coaching certificate.
She was a Local Organizing Committee Member in the AWCON.
She was also named to be interviewed as a member of the Normalisation Committee but due to her engagement with the Black Queens and the LOC then, she backed-out.
Madam Evelyn Nsiah Asare has seen it all in the football industry and delegates will do Ghana football good by electing her as women’s representative on the executive council of the Ghana Football Association on October 25th, 2019.
