A send-off party for the Western Regional deputy chief fire officer of the Ghana National Fire Service {DCOF} Obeng Dankwa Dwamena has been held today September 20 at Fijai in Takoradi.
Mr. Obeng Dankwa Dwamena {DCOF} who was formerly the Ashanti Regional Fire Officer has been at the helm of affairs since 2012.
In his speech, Mr. Dwamena expressed his profound gratitude to the heads of corporate institutions as well as government agencies particularly Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies and added that he will never forget the unwavering support from the various state institutions and corporate organizations and the good relationship and spirit and the mutual trust whenever he was in the company of other regional security council.

He however, unfolded some of the success his tenure in office chalked which includes providing an office facility for Ghana National Service at the Bia-East District Assembly and also establishment of two new fire stations at Nkroful and Essam-Debiso.
Mr. Dwamena also advised personnel in the Fire Service to always remember that their first and foremost loyalty is to the state and to that end, remain committed to their duties and execute them professionally so that the safety of the lives and property of the citizenry of the Ghana is upheld.
