Asante Kotoko head coach Kjetil Zachariassen has disclosed that, marksman Songne Yacouba is now fit enough for Hearts of Oak clash in the 2019 President’s Cup on Sunday.
Asante Kotoko will come face-to-face against bitterest rival, Hearts of Oak to battle for the 2019 President’s Cup trophy on Sunday, September 8 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
According to Kjetil Zachariassen, Songne Yacouba missed the Ashanti Gold clash in the BK Edusei Cup on last Sunday because he was not feeling well, but he is now fit for the Hearts of Oak clash on Sunday.
“Songne Yacouba has been training good for a couple of weeks. He was supposed to play the match against Ashanti Gold, but he reported to us that he is not feeling well.
“He is feeling well better today and will be training with the team. Surely he will be available for selection on Sunday against Hearts of Oak”, Zachariassen told Light FM.
