Ghana Premier League outfit Wa All Stars are set to appoint former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak player, Charles Taylor as the assistant coach.
According to the 38-year old, he has begun talks with Wa All Stars gaffer John Paintsil to join the team as an assistant coach.
Taylor disclosed to Ashh FM in Kumasi, that talks have reached the advanced stage and he could join the Wa based side but before he join the team, he has to seek approval from his spiritual father.
“I’m currently in talks with John Paintsil to be the assistant coach for Wa All Stars”, Taylor told Ashh FM.
” I’m waiting for an approval from my spiritual father (Prophet Badu Kofi) before I accept the assistant coaching role at Wa All Stars.”
Charles Taylor was a key member in Hearts of Oak’ 64 Battalion squad that won the 2000 CAF Champions League and consecutive Ghana Premier League titles.

He is considered as one of the greatest players to have played in the Ghana Premier League.
Taylor was a silver medalist for the Ghana U20 side in the 2001 Africa Youth Championship in Ethiopia.
He played for Great Olympics, Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea, Etoile du Sahel and Enugu Rangers in Nigeria.
