Highlife singer Assanqoma Jestoe has urged fellow highlife artistes in Ghana to help resurrect the seemingly dying highlife music in the country.
Speaking to kyfilla.com in an extensive interview, the ‘Amen’ composer believes highlife is gradually dying and he will help in resurrecting what he calls the musical identity of Ghana.
He however acknowledged highlife artistes like Paa Kwesi, Dada Hafco, Nana Fynn among others for their immense contribution to ensure that the highlife music genre stays alive in Ghana and stated that he will also help in resurrecting it.

“Highlife is gradually losing it stands in Ghana but I will help revive it.
“The likes of Paa Kwesi, Nana Fynn, Dada Hafco and others are doing their best to ensure that it stays alive but we will all help”, he told kyfilla.com.
