The Local Organizing Committee of the maiden edition of the Goldfields Ghana Western Region Invitational Tournament embarked on a trophy tour today.
The move from the Local Organizing Committee is to show the trophy of the tournament to the people of the Western region.
Dr. Pearce Pearson led the Committee to embarked on the trophy tour which is expected to end on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

The team visited towns like Bordee, Enchi, Asankragua and Samraboi today. The Committee in the various towns and Cities visited the traditional heads, political heads and other prominent personalities.
They also visited the teams at their camp for interactions and also had a float in the principal streets to create awareness.
Kyfilla.com understands the committee will continue the journey to Ayinase and Tarkwa on Saturday.

They will continue to Daboase and Elmina on Tuesday, September 17 before finally ending the tour in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the competition has been scheduled to commence on September 20 and end at September 29, 2019 with eight clubs to participate.
