Coach Kwesi Appiah has dropped four key players from the Black Stars of Ghana squad for the 2021 AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe.

According to Oyerepa FM, coach Kwesi Appiah has dropped general captain Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah and defender John Boye for the two games.

Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu has also been ruled out of the two games due to a reported knee injury.

Ghana will face South Africa in the first match of the qualifiers on Thursday, November 14 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as earlier reported by Kyfilla.com.

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his boys will then travel to São Tomé and Príncipe for the second game on November 17, 2019.
