Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Asante Kotoko are reportedly in advanced talks to sign two new players to strengthen their squad.

According to a report by Kumasi based Fox FM, the Porcupine Warriors are in advanced talks to sign Aduana Stars right-back Caleb Amankwah and Nkoranza Warriors striker Kwame Opoku.
The report says, Caleb Amankwah who is currently at the Black Meteors of Ghana camp preparing for the upcoming Africa U23 Championship, met with Asante Kotoko management on last Tuesday to discuss a possible transfer to the Kumasi based side.

Kwame Opoku who has been a phenomenal and a tormentor upfront for Nkoranza Warriors is also said to have held talks with Asante Kotoko management for a possible transfer.

With Asante Kotoko having a leg in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, the addition of the two players will be of a great help to the club.
