From an unknown Leoze FC in Awutu Breku of the Awutu Senya district in the Central region, Yorke has perfectly cemented his place in the star sturded FC Samartex team.
As talented as he is, Yorke plays as a left wing attacker but can also do the magic when pushed to the center forward role as well.
He arrived at Samartex FC three years ago as a sixteen year old with lots of greatness stipulated on his face.

His eyes for goals continue to wow any spectator who watches him in a match or even at training sessions.
He is seen as a tormentor to defenders who come across him, even those in the premiership fumble and fall prey to his incredible and sharp feet.
His control on the ball and ability to run through defenders as well as his eyes for goals makes him arguably the best attacker in the division one league zone two.
Benjamin Yorke was the reason why FC Samartex won the just ended Goldfields Western Region Invitational Tournament.

Playing at his favorite left wing role, the 19-year old gave defenders a hell of a time, making FC Samartex a dangerous side throughout the competition to an extent that even Benjamin Tweneboah-led Elmina Sharks couldn’t stand the might of the Samraboi based side.
He netted twice for coach Bismark Kobby Mensah’ side in the Goldfields Western Region Invitational Tournament and was crowned the overall best player of the tournament which had the likes of experienced James Bissue, Benjamin Tweneboah, Ibrahim Sanah Mohammed, Emmanuel Keyekeh among others participating for their various teams.
His performance in the competition didn’t surprised many when he was voted the best player after the tournament and even made it to the Local Organizing Committee’ best eleven.

Considering his intelligence and quality as a young footballer, coach Ibrahim Tanko will do a great disservice to Ghana should Benjamin Yorke be neglected in the Black Meteors squad for the upcoming Africa U23 Championship.
