Enterprising football administrator Simon Ehomah has been elected as the new Chairman of the Western Region Football Association.

The bankroller for Basake Holy Royals beat off competitions from Bismark Owusu Mensah and James Asiedu Kainyah to emerged as the winner.

Ehomah had 41 votes out of 101 total votes casted at the SSNIT Conference Room in Takoradi today.
Other aspirants James Asiedu Kainyah pulled 28 votes whiles Bismark Owusu Mensah had 26.

Simon Ehomah has now taken the mantle from Mr. Kojo Yankah as the next Western Region Football Association Chairman for the next four years.
