Kotoko were granted the permission by the Normalization Committee to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup even though league season in the country is in the normalization period.
However, Joseph Hendricks who donned the red jersey in the early 2000s believes head coach C.K. Akunnor shouldn’t be given enough pressure to perform better with the team during their Africa campaign next year.
“What I want to say is the supporters of the team shouldn’t put any pressure on their head coach C.K. Akunnor to perform better in their Africa campaign because he has a short time to prepare the team for their big task ahead”, he told Takoradi based Connect FM.
