Former Accra Hearts of Oak captain Amakwah Mireku has said the gargantuan salary of the Managing Director of the club Mark Noonan is the cause of the high rate of player exodus at the team.
Hearts of Oak have been losing key players to foreign teams with the recent being their talisman Patrick Razak who has signed a two-year deal with Guinean giant Horoya AC.

But the former captain of the ‘Continental Club Masters’ believes the gargantuan monthly salary of the Managing Director of the club Mark Noonan agitates most of the players thus departing from the club.
“The players of Hearts of Oak are leaving because they are agitated about the money given to Mark Noonan every month,” he told OTEC FM.
