President of Tema Youth Football Club, Wilfred Osei Palmer has appealed his disqualification from the Ghana FA Presidential seat race.

The astute football administrator was disqualified by the Vetting Committee of the Normalization Committee for breaching an FA General regulations.

Palmer has challenged the decision from the Vetting Committee of the Normalization Committee by filling for an appeal at the Ghana FA and FIFA at large and has proceeded to file a stay of execution on the FA elections.
The stay of execution means the Ghana FA elections might not come on as scheduled by the Normalization Committee.

Meanwhile, personalities like Amanda Clinton, George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe, George Ankomah Mensah and Nana Yaw Amponsah have been declared eligible to contest for the Ghana FA Presidential seat.
The elections will be held on October 25, 2019.
