News reaching kyfilla.com indicates that, the ceiling of some part of Accra Mall has collapsed early this morning.
According to an eyewitness, there were noise from the ceiling but nobody paid attention to it until they later found out that the ceiling of the part of the mall was caving in.
The workers and customers during the incident later realized that it was the ceiling of the GAME shop and had to flee outside.
An eyewitness however continued that some people who were trapped have been rushed to the nearest clinic for treatment.

Meanwhile, the President Akufo Addo after hearing the unfortunate incident has took to his twitter page saying “Am disturbed to hear of the incident at the Accra Mall, let us all work together to improve our maintenance culture. Speedy recovery to the injured”.
