Black Stars ‘B’ head coach Maxwell Konadu has admitted that Ghana’s game against Burkina Faso won’t be an easy task.

Ghana after beating Gambia 1-0, will face the Burkinabes in the quarter-finals of the ongoing WAFU Championship in Senegal on Friday, October 4 at 8:00PM.
Having lost to the Burkina Faso side in the first-leg of the next year’s CHAN qualifiers few days ago at home, Konadu has admitted that the clash on Friday would be very difficult for Ghana but his charges are ready for the battle.

“The Burkinabes are a very good side considering what happened in Kumasi few days ago even though we created lots of chances. We won’t want that to happen on Friday.

“The game won’t be easy but we are ready for it. The players who joined the team are currently doing well at training but the the technical team will decide whether we maintain the squad that played against Gambia or make changes.

” The game is very difficult for both sides but on our part , we will make sure we don’t commit minor mistakes that will let them (Burkina Faso) capitalize on them to punish us like what happened in the CHAN qualifiers”, Konadu concluded.
