Former Karela United skipper, William Opoku Mensah provided an assist in Steel Pulse FC 1-1 stalemate with Maryland International FC in the Maryland Major Soccer League in the United States.

The 23-year old played the full throttle with an amazing performance which led to his assist in the 20th minute of the match.
Opoku Mensah provided an opportunity for Salau Mohammed to register the opener in the 20th minute before Maryland International FC had the parity to end the game.

The stalemate has ensured Steel Pulse FC to move to the second position on the league log with 19 points and will play their next game against World Class FC on Sunday.

Opoku Mensah joined Steel Pulse FC last season on a year and half deal after mutually terminating his contract with Swoop Park Rangers.
He has, since his arrival at Steel Pulse FC last season, scored 14 goals in 12 matches for the team. He also has a goal in the US Open Cup which was against Tartans Devils where they lost 3-2 at the Howard Country Stadium.
