Black Stars of Ghana have held their first training session ahead of 2021 AFCON qualifying match against South Africa and São Tome and Principe.
The maiden training session held at the Accra Sports Stadium today witnessed 13 players turning up.

Skipper Andre Ayew alongside his brother Jordan Ayew, Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan and Hearts of Oak defender Fatawu Mohammed who was handed late call up to replace injured Harrison Afful showed up for training today.
Others are TP Mazembe winger Jorric Jebril, Dalian Yifang’s Emmanuel Boateng, Al Fahya winger Samuel Owusu, Fortuna Dusseldorf defender Kasim Nuhu and Zulte Waregem left-back Gideon Mensah.

Newly appointed assistant coach of the Black Stars, CK Akonnor was also at the training ground to support head coach Kwesi Appiah in preparation of the double header.
Ghana face South Africa on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the first game of the qualifiers before traveling to São Tome and Principe to face them on November 18, 2019.
