A passenger plane claimed 181 lives on Sunday 39 December, 2024 at Mawan Airport in South Korea, after an emergency landing was carried out without landing gear.
A collision with a bird is suspected of causing landing gear to fail. According to current reports, it is estimated that almost all 181 passengers have died.
The air disaster was the second in as many days after Russian defenses shot down an Azerbaijani plane and killed most of those on board.
