Starr News has reported that two Ghanaian legislators and thirteen staff at the parliament have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
According to the report, this was revealed after the Speaker of Parliament requested for the voluntary testing.
The identities of these affected persons have not been disclosed but per the reports from Starr News, the results started coming in from last week.

Due to that, the Speaker of Parliament has ordered for a mandatory testing of all staff at the chamber since the affected persons could transfer the virus to others because MP’s usually interact among themselves.
Meanwhile, Ghana has recorded 6964 cases of the pandemic with 2097 recoveries and 32 deaths.
