A tragic series of accidents on the Bogoso-Tarkwa road in Ghana’s Western Region has resulted in the deaths of two people.
The incidents involved two separate vehicles colliding with a timber truck that had been parked on the road for five days.
The first accident occurred on Wednesday, July 17, around 1 a.m. when a Corolla car crashed into the stationary truck, tragically killing two individuals.
Following this, a Pickup truck subsequently collided with the same truck, causing injuries to multiple people.
The Tarkwa-Bogoso stretch has been notorious for accidents in the past, a situation that had been somewhat alleviated by regular police patrols.
