Takoradi Technical University have been drawn in a tricky group in the 2019 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges Basketball Championship.
The quarter-final draw for the quarter-final stage of the competition was held successful today on Kwese TV.
Takoradi Technical University in quest to win the competition for the very first time will battle for a semi-final slot in a group that has defending champions, University of Ghana alongside Koforidua Technical University and the Catholic University College.
TTU finished third in the 2011 edition and went ahead to place fourth in the last edition after losing to 2015 first runners up Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
The entire eight participating universities will converged at the University of Ghana court on Friday, 12th April, 2019 with the semi-finalists games and the grand finale to come off a day later at the same venue.
The top two teams authomatically gain qualification to the semi-final. This year’s edition is sponsored by CAL Bank and MTN.
