FC Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku has been named the Ghanaian footballer of the year at the 2022 Ghana Football Awards held on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
The Sevilla-bound defender scooped the topmost awards alongside the Ghanaian foreign-based footballer of the year award.
Ghana Premier League Champions Asante Kotoko was the male team of the year and the most vibrant club on social media whiles its CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah went home with the best CEO of the year award.
Bayern Munich newest signing and Senegal superstar Sadio Mane was adjudged the best African player of the year whiles Real Betis Feminine midfielder Grace Asantewaa was named the female footballer of the year.
