The Black Stars were charged USD 80,000.00 for yellow card accumulation at the 2022 Federation of International Football Association Works Cup held in Qatar.
Ghana were housed in a group that had Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea, ending the group with three points and bottom placed.
Ghana’s 3-2 victory over South Korea fell between defeats to Portugal and Uruguay.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association the eight yellow cards Ghana had in those three games attracted a payment of USD 80,000.00.
