Black Stars head Coach Chris Hughton has announced the start big eleven for Ghana’s opening campaign of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers against Madagascar.
The kick off time for the game is 4:00pm local time at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Goalkeeper Richard Ofori has returned to the starting lineup having last played for the Black Stars against Liberia in a friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars deputy skipper will have Daniel Amartey and Nicholas Opoku in front of him as center backs with Gideon Mensah and Alidu Seidu manning the left and right positions respectively.
The midfield combinations will see West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus, Abdul Samed and Iddrisu Baba.
In attack is Jordan Ayew, Inaki Williams and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.
Earlier Group I encounter saw Comoros beat Central African Republic 4-2.
