Two Medeama SC players, Fatawu Hamidu and Jonathan Sowah have made the Black Stars squad ahead of FIFA World Cup qualifier games against Madagascar and Comoros.
Head Coach Chris Hughton announced 25 squad list for the opening encounters against Madagascar and Comoros as Ghana look to secure another slot to the mundial.
Left Back Fatawu Hamidu and Forward Johnathan Sowah will compete for starting places as Ghana host Madagascar at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, November 17, 2023 to open the crucial campaign.
This is expected to put the two in top gear also for Medeama Sporting Club in their CAF Champions League quest against Egyptian Champions, Al Ahly.
The team makes a trip to Comoros afterwards.
