In the Central Region’s Abura Emprow, within the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District, a 21-year-old man was discovered dead in an odd condition.
Reports suggest the deceased was traveling to Accra from Abura Dunkwa to visit his father but alighted at Abura Emprow to witness a festival.
The Assembly Member for Abura Kwaman/Patoako Electoral Area, Ebenezer Annobil, stated in an interview with Adom News that he received a distress call regarding the incident from locals.
Mr. Annobil claimed that when he arrived at the scene, the body was in an odd state.
According to the assemblyman, he believes the deceased was murdered by unidentified assailants and that the body was dumped on the road so that the vehicle could drive on it.
He claimed that approximately 100 meters from the location of the dead body, he discovered what appeared to be the deceased’s clothing.
Since then, the body has been placed at the mortuary of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for autopsy and preservation while the investigation is still underway.
