Two hundred and fifty-four (254) staff at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region have tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.
This was confirmed by the CEO of the hospital, Dr. Oheneba Owusu Danso in a media briefing to update Ghanaians the state of the hospital in this Coronavirus period.

He stated that, out of the 254, 203 have recovered from the pandemic with one person unfortunately giving up the ghost.
Dr. Owusu Danso added that, the remaining 50 staff are responding well to treatment and are expected to fully recover and resume work soon.

He further continued that, so far the hospital has tested 2,853 samples of which 812 have tested positive for Coronavirus but 421 have recovered while 31 are awaiting their results.

Dr. Owusu Danso however urged the general public to adhere to the Coronavirus safety protocols to help curb the pandemic.
