Tanzanian league champions Simba sc will play Ghanaian giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko in an international friendly match on August 8,2018 at the National Stadium in Tanzania in celebration of the annual Simba Day Cup.
The 19 times champions of Tanzania has invited Kumasi Asante Kotoko as guest for this year’s Simba Day Cup .
Kumasi Asante Kotoko confirmed the friendly game on their official Twitter account.
@AsanteKotoko_SC will be travelling to Tanzania to play Simba S.C on Wednesday,8 August 2018,honor of their SIMBA DAY celebration 2018″ they tweeted.
Simba SC will be playing in the 2018/2019 Caf Champions League and also defend their league title in the 2018/2019 Tanzania Premier league .
Ghanaian trio James Kotei, Nicholas Gyan and Akwasi Asante of Simba sc will be facing Asante Kotoko on August 8,2018.
Simba sc won the trophy last year after beating Rwandan side Rayon Sports 1-0 at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Kotoko will leave Ghana on Tuesday August 7,2018 , play the game on the 8 August, 2018 and return back on Thursday 9 August, 2018.
