Head Coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Bashiru Hayford, says he is not under any pressure to win the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations which will be hosted in Ghana.
According to the astute tactician, Ghana would face keen competition from the other countries who are to participate in the much touted championship hence not the only favorite team to win the ultimate.
“I’m not under any pressure even though I’m eyeing the ultimate.
“Ghana is hosting it this time around so Ghanaians especially want it to be host-and-win but it will be very difficult.
“This time around most of the teams have understood the game much better and Ghana will face a serious competition from the rest of the seven teams”, he told Takoradi based Aseda FM during an interview which was monitored by kyfilla.com.

Meanwhile, the chairperson of the local organizing committee in charge of the AWCON 2018, Honorable Freda Prempeh as earlier reported by kyfilla.com believes Black Queens preparations ahead of the tournament is very poor and could affect the team’s performance during the tourney.
However, the much awaiting AWCON 2018 has been slated for November 17 to December 1, 2018 with both Cape Coast and Accra Sports Stadium to host the entire eight participating teams.
