Police officials have arrested seven suspected armed robbers who have been terrorizing vendors in the Afram Plains.
This was right after eight other men were arrested for the same crime a week ago. The traders and inhabitants of the community made this complaint with regard to the robberies and these men were arrested quickly.

Nkawkaw Divisional Crime Officer, DSP Daniel Azugu, leading the police operations team have nabbed seven armed robbers in the Afram Plains in the Eastern Region.
These are the suspects that have been identified;
Mohammadu Aliu – 20
Abubakar Saddick-25
Gagli Ali – 40
Osmanu Mohammadu – 33
Osmanu Aliu – 17
Jalo Ishaika – 58
Umaro Sanda – 25.
Continuous wails and demonstrations by the residents and traders in the area who were victims to this uncouth happening.
DSP Tetteh stated that, the seven suspected robbers are in the hands of the police and there will be a court hearing within the week.
He therefore pleaded with the public to report any information concerning the whereabouts of the remaining suspects.
