Ghana youth international Patrick Asmah is hoping to have his Black Stars breakthrough after stunning performance so far for his team FK Senica in Slovakia.
Asmah was one of the stars of the Black Satellites team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in 2015 earning him a move to Italy.
However, speaking to Sekondi based Radio Silver of which kyfilla.com monitored, the marauding defender revealed that he joined the Slovakian side in order to get enough playing time to enable him earn Black Stars invitation.
Patrick Asmah revealed his readiness whenever he’s given the Black Stars jersey.
“I’m hoping that soon i will get a call up to the Black Stars.
“Even though i didn’t get enough playing time at Atlanta, I believe here [FK Senica] will be the stepping stone to get a Black Stars call up”.
Meanwhile, the former Dumas Academy and B.A United defender added that he is ready to challenge the likes of Lumor Agbenyenu for the Black Stars left-back role.

Currently Patrick Asmah has played six matches out of the possible eight for FK Senica after joining them on a year loan from Italian serie A side Atlanta.
