The entire Ghana football fraternity has been thrown into a state of shock as the country woke up to the sad news of the demise of Karela United CEO Senator David Cobbinah Saigha Brigidi.
Senator Brigidi as popularly called in the Ghanaian football fraternity died in the United Kingdom after short illness.
However, his sudden demise has let the entire football enthusiasts in the country moaning and sending of condolences.
Karela United captain William Opoku Mensah as most people recalled him for his brilliant hat-trick against Hearts of Oak at Ayinase during the first round of the Ghana Premier League has also throw more light on the personality of the late Senator Brigidi.
According to the Opoku Mensah, the deceased club owner was a unique person and the most caring personality he has come across.
“He is a unique person and the most caring club owner I have come across.
“He takes good care of us and I will always remember him for that.
“When I heard the news I thought it was one of those false reportage until his wife called me to confirm the news to me as the captain of the team. I was shocked and confused at the same time and even powdered my noise continuously. His demise is really a shocking one”, he told Kwame Yeboah of Radio Silver in Sekondi
