An Accra High Court has turned down an application by Kennedy Agyapong seeking to terminate the 25 million defamation suit against him by Anas Aremeyaw Anas

The Court also held that the writ filed by Anas does not, in any way, go against the constitutional rights of Mr Agyapong since there has not been any important legal points raised to affirm that claim.
The Court conducted Anas to provide Mr Agyapong with a more detailed address in 10 days as the current address given is not adequate.
Mr Agyapong had filed an application seeking to turn down Anas’ lawsuit on the bases that the writ was incompetent.
Mr Agyapong alleged that wearing a mask and covering up his identity violated the constitutional rights under article 33 of the Constitution.
